Kaua'i Golf Resorts Honored by Travel + Leisure Magazine

The Kaua'i Visitors Bureau co-operative – Kaua'i: Discover Golf's Ultimate Island Green  announces that The St Regis Princeville Resort and the Grand Hyatt Kaua'i Resort & Spa garnered distinction in Travel + Leisure’s 18th annual “World’s Best Awards.”

Both are listed among the “Best Resorts in Hawaii” and are also members of the magazine’s “Hall of Fame,” which includes elite properties that have been listed every year for the past decade.  Readers of the publication cast votes for the hotels, destinations and companies that embody the best in travel.

“We are honored that Kaua'i resorts were selected by Travel + Leisure readers as some of the best in the world,” says Sue Kanoho, Executive Director of the Kaua'i Visitors Bureau.  “Both leisure and adventure travelers will enjoy their stay on the island, which offers activities ranging from zip lines and relaxing in luxurious guestrooms to kayaking down the Wailua River and hiking through our tropical paradise.”

The St. Regis Princeville features the renowned Halele’a Spa, an infinity pool overlooking Hanalei Bay and The Kaua‘i Grill by Jean-Georges Vongerichten. Poipu Bay Golf Course is one of the many amenities of the Grand Hyatt Kaua‘i Resort and Spa, which has a water playground, saltwater lagoon, the celebrated Anara Spalive entertainment and several restaurants. Poipu Bay Golf Course, situated on 210 oceanfront acres adjacent to the resort, is ranked as one of "America's 100 Greatest Public Golf Courses" by Golf Digest and gained fame as home to the PGA Grand Slam of Golf from 1994 through 2006
